So I got this this morning 😬 never done a digital before and it's quite surreal seeing the actually word! I had an early loss the end of feb, that's when the bleeding began and I've not had a period since so I have no idea when I ovulated!! Going by my first day of last bleed I'd be due dec 3rd but I think I'm probably about 4 weeks going off when I've done the deed. But I am soooo scared to get excited because of the loss. I've also been spotting since Saturday. A couple of times bright red but most pink and only when I wipe, nothing on a pad. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm scared to register with the midwife incase things go wrong

Congratulations 🥳

if you self refer your pregnancy they say to wait until 6 weeks to do so I did through badger notes but it depends where you live! Then they will contact you for your first appointment! Congratulations you’re pregnant 🥳 I would recommend an early scan at 7 weeks for your own reassurance x

Congratulations! I fell pregnant a couple of months after a miscarriage so know exactly how you feel. In the end I booked a private early viability scan for 8wks and only after that did I do my midwife self-referral. I refused to do it beforehand for fear of jinxing things. Anyway, long story short she was most definitely viable and is now a beautiful 3 month old baby.

I know it’s easier said than done but try to relax and take it day by day. In the early days I actually found it quite helpful to listen to a first trimester specific meditation before bed (there’s loads on youtube!) as it felt like I was doing something positive to help the baby stick and also helped calm my anxieties/fears around another miscarriage. I’m pretty nerdy/data driven so I also found this odds tracker strangely therapeutic as it helped me rationalise my fears https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

Miscarriage Odds Reassurer

A positive spin on Miscarriage. The Reassurer shows you the odds of miscarriage and birth based on pregnancy length and maternal history.

Thank you for all of your replies, this will be my 3rd baby but my youngest will be almost 9 by the time I'm due so I'm a bit rusty with everything! I never had spotting in pregnancy before which is why I was so frightened however it's completely stopped. I'm going to wait till next week I think and then refer to the midwife. I'm starting to relax a little, I just find it so hard to believe this is really happening again after such a long time, like am I really this lucky?! Such a strange feeling!

The bleeding is back, slightly worse still no need for a pad but I've got lower back ache quite bad. I think it may be the beginning of the end unfortunately.
