Am I having a slow miscarriage?

Hi im just looking for any ideas. I'm 9+3 and been bleeding on and off since 6 weeks. I have had 2 scans and all was OK.. the last scan was on Wednesday. However since saturday the bleeding is getting more regular. I.e. every day, and today I saw two 50p size clots, so it seems like it's getting worse.

Does anyone think this could be a miscarriage just starting slowly? Thank you

It’s unlikely you are miscarrying if the scans are reassuring and there is growth etc
I’d rely on the scans much more than worrying about the bleeding
If it’s getting a lot worse though can you go back to the early pregnancy unit and ask to be checked?

Thank you for replying, it's reassuring, I'm just so worried I'm on the verge of miscarriage. The scans were fine so I'll try hold onto that!

The scans are what matters.
Some people have scary amounts of bleeding and have a completely healthy pregnancy. Especially inclined to think that if your scans to date have been fine despite the bleeding. All the best OP

I have read on here quite a number of people saying they have bled quite a lot during pregnancy and go to have a healthy baby. Hope everything will be ok. I agree with asking to be checked again.

I'm one of those who bled quite a bit in my first trimester. All scans were fine and the bleeding was caused by an SCH. All resolved by just after 12 week scan and perfectly healthy baby girl born all those months later! I remember how terrified I was but everyone reassured me that bleeding really can be quite common. You've had reassuring scans and that is amazing news! Hope all goes well from here. X

I bled bright red with clots on and off for 2 months then again at 11 weeks for a bit! Had a bit of spotting in the 20 weeks too
.. baby is fine and 11 weeks old now

I bled constantly. Was a subchorionic haematoma. Some bleeds were so frighteningly big I couldn’t believe they were surviving in there. Did anyone mention seeing a patch of bleeding when you went to the EPU?

Thanks for your replies, it is reassuring. I'm still lightly bleeding today, so I'll just see how it goes.

@Antiquiteas no nobody mentioned anything like that. They just saw the heartbeat and said it was fine. I'm glad it all turned out OK for you. Fingers crossed it is something similar to this.
