I guess right now I'm at my lowest point and just need to know this isn’t going to go on for much longer. I’m 9 weeks tomorrow and even with medication the nausea is 24/7 I feel so guilty for my kids because I can’t even hold a conversation with them at the moment. If you have also suffered please tell me it got better soon?

How were you with previous pregnancies? Probably a better indicator of how this one will go that what other people experience.

Personally, I found the nausea easier to manage when the fatigue started to lift (around 10 weeks) and I also could take a higher level of the medication without falling asleep at that stage.

First pregnancy was 14 weeks second pregnancy the medication helped and I could stop taking them around 13 weeks. Currently on prochlorperazine 3x a day and still feeling nauseous 24/7 like the room is spinning and being sick about three times a day.

At about four months with DC1
Still throwing up at nine months with DC2 and lost weight. Felt like I was constantly being poisoned. Woke up in the night to be sick.
This was 20 years ago and no anti sickness meds were given. I will never forget how bad I felt.

Ok, so hopefully not too much longer then, just a couple of weeks! Afraid I vomitted throughout both of my pregnancies right up to delivery room, but definitely better at about 15 weeks - up until that point I could barely maintain my weight and was often dehydrated. I'm 7 weeks now and kind of terrified waiting for it to hit as so far I've only been sick about once a day. On the bright side (hah!) I'm definitely gaining weight this time as I can't stop snacking

I'm 7 wks now and got the fear also of when will this go away. In my last pregnancy I went off meds about 14wks. I don't know how I'm going to cope for another 7wks. Pretty much bed ridden & unable to do much around the house, which is harder this time with a 15month old also!
