Hi, please can someone help with my dates I feel like I'm losing it and can't get a Dr's appt until 11th may!
I did a test on 19th march-negative
21st march - Period came. Heavy but lasted only 2 days, so 2 days shorter than usual.
27th march started spotting (5 days after period stopped) so did another test - positive.
I'm still spotting but have today done a clearblue date test and it's saying 2-3 weeks.
Could I be further along than we thought, I don't know how as test 2 weeks ago said negative but now test saying 2-3 weeks.
Does continued spotting mean I'm likely miscarrying?
Please help/advise thank you

2-3 weeks on cb would be 4-5 week’s pregnant. Most places you can self refer straight to the midwives and maternity care, they will be better to speak to than a doctor to be honest. Spotting doesn’t necessarily mean miscarriage but I would contact midwives as they may want to rule out ectopic. If bleeding gets heavier or you have pain especially if one sided or in shoulder get yourself to a&e

Hi thank you. Would it mean 4-5 weeks even though I've had a period in the last 2 weeks and also tested negative around 2.5 weeks ago?

The only way to know for sure is by a scan. But yes cb works from conception, but for pregnancy weeks you want to add 2 weeks on to that. So 2-3 on cb would be 4-5 weeks pregnant. They’re not 100% accurate though. It may not have been a period, it could have been heavy implantation bleeding. Give it another few weeks and book a private scan or midwives might give you an early scan

Probably wasn’t a period if it was only 2 days, likely implantation bleeding
