Can you see a line ?

I got the coil fitted 8 months ago. I've been feeling very sick and cramping on and off for the past 5 days. I took a test this morning just to be on safe side it's only a pound test from the pound shop. I feel like I can see something? Freaking out

I can a faint line, but the strip does look very pink you should wait for it to clear and you’ll know if theres a line for sure. How soon after doing the test did you take this picture?

I took this photo after 4 mins- test is now in bin. I will re test tomorrow morning

I think it's just you can see the background is pink next to a white indent (where a positive line would be). Wait for the background to go white, then look again or try a better test.

If I take another test tomorrow and it's definitely positive, will I need to contact doctors to get my coil removed?

I can’t see anything, and I usually always see the lines when others can’t.

I can’t see a line, so you should be fine. Although no contraception is 100% effective, coils do their hob pretty good and it is quite rare to get pregnant on them

Thank you! It must have just been the lighting or that the test was still developing when I took first pic. Can now stop panicking haha

I’m 2 days late would you expect it to be darker?

Just woke up and done a clear blue and it looks negative I’m so confused ! :(

@laurenn26 All pregnancy tests have different levels of sensitivity which may be shown somewhere on the pack with a mIU number. The lower the number is, the lower the levels of HCG it will detect, ie the earlier it will detect a pregnancy. If you're using two different tests with two different sensitivities, it's possible that your HCG levels are high enough to trigger one test and not the other. Look out for sensitive tests that detect from 10mIU, such as boots early tests, to give you a clearer answer.

I now think I can see a VERY faint positive on the clear blue but can’t even photograph it!! Hardly visible at all & still no period. I don’t know what to think

I had cramping about 6 days after ovulation I’m now wondering if that was me ovulating late rather than implantation! Would this make sense why I haven’t had consistent positives yet? My cycles really short only 25 days!
