So.. I am really irregular (lucky if I have a period twice a year) however we have been trying. Due to this, I can’t really track my ovulation (or rather don’t know how as there’s no pattern). I took a test on Monday, and it came up with a faint positive. We wanted to make sure so I took another on Tuesday which came negative. That’s fine but just to be sure I took one Wednesday, turned faint positive (a little stronger this time). Took a test Thursday morning, negative and then another Thursday evening, and faint positive again! I am having symptoms of early pregnancy (bloating, mood, fatigue, boobs etc) but the mix of results (with a variety of brands) is getting me so confused and frustrated. Can anyone offer any words of wisdom please!? 🙏

Are they maybe indents you are seeing? That would explain the negatives on the other tests.
Are you using FMU or testing at different times of the day?
Are you reading the test after the time specified?

Maybe leave it a few days and test on a digital to be sure?

i have tested at different times of the day. I have tried the strip tests and CB. 2 CB tests showed blue lines and one of the strip tests showed a pinkish line. The others were completely clear. All read within the time. My partner and I have come to the decision to wait and see what happens this coming week, but I can’t help overthinking!

I'm guessing from your menstruation history that you've no idea how many dpo you might be? I think it would be a case that a GP should be willing to do a blood test for you for HCG levels? Everything crossed for you!

I would speak to your GP and explain this to them, they will be able to test for you, good luck 🤞
