I wonder if anyone can help! My friend brought round a bottle of sentia spirits which she said is non alchoholic & meant to be good to give you the alcohol high without the alcohol so I had some in some fizzero. However when I read the back of the bottle later it said your not to have it If pregnant. I'm now really panicking myself. Has anyone done the same?

I’ve never heard of it but a quick google found this.

As for drinking Sentia when you’re pregnant, driving or underage, Nutt’s view is clear. He doesn’t recommend it to people who are pregnant, because they haven’t been able to study it. “It’s unethical to give it to them, so we don’t know and don’t want to encourage it.”

Its unlikely to have done any harm but I would avoid doing it again

I also had a whole glass two nights ago before I realised. Panicking a bit but assuming it’s fine, they just haven’t tested it yet and are being cautious. Assuming all is still good with you?!

hope all is ok with both of you and your babies. I was looking at Sentia too. it does contain a lot of herbal ingredients but one of them is wormwood which can cause miscarriages. I think probably in much higher concentrations than in the drink but it also has liquorice in it which isn’t recommended to have in pregnancy so I wouldn’t have it again x
