Fatigue in second trimester.

Im 21 weeks pregnant and bloody exhausted. I don’t remember feeling like this when pregnant with my son four years ago. I was more fatigued in the first trimester and then things seemed to settle down, but I’m exhausted again at the moment. I don’t know if it’s partly as I’m sleeping quite badly (Apple Watch is suggesting that I’m waking a huge amount for brief periods of time, which is also how I feel). Or having a child and not being able to lie in and nap the way that I did in my prior pregnancy? Starting to wonder if I’m anemic (I was last time but I didn’t feel tired) or if there’s something else going on?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm 23 weeks and exhausted. With my first the tiredness went away after the first trimester, probably because your able to just focus on your own needs (I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old). Can anyone take over with your older child so you can rest? My partner doesn't get home from work till 6pm and sometimes I have to go for a nap at that time because I'm just so exhausted 🥴 definitely get your bloods checked though if you where anemic last time

Thank you, I’m glad I’m not the only one! Though sorry you are struggling. My husband is pretty good but I think he’s so used to hear me complaining about how tired I am that he doesn’t really think anything of it. I do try to nap when I can but between work and childcare it’s difficult. I had a nine hour sleep last night and feel a bit more human so far today!
