Baby head measuring small..

I went for my 20 weeks scan today and as far as I was aware everything was ok.
They told me the baby's head is measuring small which could mean there's something wrong with the brain.. and the head is a lemon shape. I have to go for more tests.
I'm going out of my mind. I don't want to google but what could this mean? Has anyone been told anything similar and it been ok?

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience! I havent had this myself but know someone who had the same lemon shaped worry. The Sonographer checked all everything else and couldn’t see anything wrong - I think the main concern is spina bifida - but she had to go for follow up checks. Anyway, turned out baby was absolutely fine and the lemon shape was just a normal variation for them. I hope this is the same for you <3

please try to out it from your mind if you can and wait for your next scan. I know that’s easier said than done. Sending hugs.

Hoping for the best for you. Not had that situation. But was told my LO body was measuring small at 32 weeks but head and extremities with fine. They really tried to bully me into an induction.

However I refused and LO. Is 15months old now and happy and healthy. He is like DH small Abdo/Torso but long lanky legs. He was a petite baby and healthy.
Some babies have some variations that are completely harmless and fine and normal for them.
