Hand hold Gestational sack, no yolk 6 weeks pregnant

I feel physically sick writing this.

I had a bloody discharge early Wednesday morning and some pain on my left side so my doctor sent me to the hospital x the bleeding stopped by late morning and was only present when I wiped.

The HCG levels Wednesday night - were 2,026 which is good for the gestation of pregnancy.

Yesterday I’ve had a scan and there’s a sac, in my uterus but no yolk, no heartbeat. She said at 6 weeks you’d expect a yolk and a heartbeat. It doesn’t look like it’s ectopic. She said something about an embryonic ring around the sack which is good. She said I may be to early to show - we only had unprotected sex the one time on the 4th March- I was testing positive for pregnancy 12 days after intercourse.

My ovaries look good and I've had my bloods repeated at 9am this morning, 39 hours after the last set to see if the HCG has increased. Apparently it should double in 48 hours. They are now 3,095.

So it’s either to early or the pregnancy has ended. I did take the morning after pill and she said this can apparently stop the pregnancy from progressing. So may actually do it’s job 🙄 just a lot later than expected.

She also said that I ovulated from my right ovary and if it were ectopic the pain would be on my right side not left x

They’ve taken loads of measurements and I’ll have another scan on Tuesday 11th April, unless I bleed, to see if the sack grows…, or to see whatever should be there is there. I will go back on Tuesday for more bloods as we're going away this afternoon. I want and need to keep things as normal as possible for my children.

Has anyone experienced this and been ok, I thought with my HCG levels increasing it would be positive news. But the hospital are still cautious about ectopic pregnancy.

Despite this pregnancy being unplanned... I really want it xx

Yes, I've had similar, although didn't take the morning after pill.

One pregnancy, finally had to have surgery, as it was a blighted ovum. Got to 9 weeks, and it was much bigger, but nothing inside. First scan was at 6 weeks, following bloody discharge.

Most recent pregnancy, has masses of bleeding at 6 weeks, scan couldn't show a fetal pole or heartbeat. Measured 4.5 weeks.

One week later, heartbeat, measuring 7 weeks, had had a subchorionic haematoma.

Desperately trying to get the little pain to work out potty training now...

Both my pregnancies had early bleeding. Right up to 18 weeks during 2nd pregnancy.

First scan on #2 showed no fetal pole or heart beat but 10 days later all was well.

Honestly nobody can really say. Just have to keep everything crossed and see what happens.

Absolutely no idea regarding the MAP, don't know how this might affect things. Could you ask at EPU?

I had no sac or yolk on a scan at 6 weeks. He's 6 and a half now.

I am having my scan next Tuesday xx EPU are happy that the pregnancy is viable and progressing as it should x

I'm so pleased xx cannot believe how relieved I feel xx

I just pray next week that we see a heartbeat xx this babe was completely unplanned and it's daddy is being an absolute arse xx but it's so wanted xx
