35 weeks and feel like baby is going to come out?

I’m a first time mum so unsure if this is normal. I feel like babies head is rubbing against my cervix to the point I have to cross my legs or worry he’s going to make an early appearance. I’ve asked a couple of friends who are new mums and they told me they never felt like that.

Baby was 3/5 engaged at my mw appointment a week ago

His head might well be pressing on your cervix. I had it with DD, she was really low down at some appointments from 34 weeks but still needed induction at 39 weeks.
Obviously he won't just fall or slide out so don't worry about it.
As far as I recall, them pressing their head on your cervix helps get it ready for delivery.

I think that can be quite a normal feeling, though if you get anything like a bloody show or contractions then you could call labour ward.

I would mention it at your next midwife appontment. But I do remember them feeling really low down in the last few weeks, made it feel really uncomfortable to walk etc.

Sounds like pressure from babys head moving down I had this with my 2nd born from about 36 weeks baby was born at 39 weeks.

Yeh I have this, it’s really uncomfortable. The midwife said it’s fairly common. Nothing that can be done about it.

I have this too at 36+3. I find that it’s worse after walking or doing lots so have been trying to rest when I can
