Hello, I’m hoping you guys could help me. I’m going out of my mind over here 😂
On CD14 I triggered with Gonasi 5000 & ovulated on CD16.
My test date should be tomorrow, but the 2WW has been a killer. 🤣
I tested this morning and a positive showed straight away. I’m currently on CD29.

Would the HCG still be in my system? Or is this what we’ve been hoping for?

My history:
4MC, High UNK cells, MTHFR gene mutation, immune disorder - I am taking medication to support.

Sorry it's a bit unclear how long ago your trigger was but it's usually out your system within 10 days and quite faint on tests by day 6-7 i think so if more than that i'd say that's an excellent positive. fingers crossed for you

oh sorry just read your on CD29. - then deff not trigger anymore! congrats!!

@Newt91

I tested 9dp5dt and was positive. I'm now 39+2 weeks pregnant- one day is going to make no difference.

Congratulations!!! You won't feel like it's real I still don't x

Congratulations! Did you do this trigger for ivf or iui?

Newt91 · 31/03/2023 07:09

Wow! Thank you all for your replies. We’re over the moon! 🤭 I have tested again this morning and it’s looking strong.

I used the trigger for timed intercourse. Because I have PCOS, the fertility clinic wanted to confirm that I am ovulating. I have also had 4MC in 18months, they recommended giving timed intercourse with lots of medication, to support it sticking (because of all the other things they found in my tests).

@Jazzyan from what I’ve read, the positive line should be the same thickness as the line that runs horizontally. But it’s difficult to say for sure. Maybe try testing again this morning/tomorrow morning & best of luck. Let us know how you get on 🤞🏼✨

@Jazzyan If the bottom one was sunday and the top one was today would deff say that's a positive then as line is getting stronger. if its the other way round then it looks like its getting weaker so its either the trigger or a chemical.

@Newt91 The line does not have to be darker than the control on a pregnancy test, that's for ovulation tests. Any line on a pregnancy test is positive.

Newt91 · 31/03/2023 09:15

@Bells3032 apologies for any confusion - I didn’t mean the the line had to be darker, only that the line had to be the same width/thickness. And yes, no matter how light or strong, a positive is a positive.

The bottom one was yesterday and the top one on Sunday
