Hi everyone 🤍🤍

Trying to stay positive but it's so hard at the moment my head is all over the place

Can anyone tell me if they experienced these before ....

5 weeks pregnant and ultrasound only showed a sac and nothing else is this normal?

Blood taken - confirmed 4332 is that level good? What does that indicate? How far gone could I actually be with these hcg levels it's all confusing me .

More bloods test tomorrow ( 31st March)

Another scan next week 🤍🤍

Please no negative comments 🥹🥹

I have read so many threads like this and they go back 2 weeks later and all is ok, 5 weeks is super early, i believe only a sac showing is pretty normal, did they say anything at the appointment?

No just said can only see a gestational sac but nothing else . But they want to rule
Out ectopic pregnancy with another lot of bloods . And scan next week . Is that normal to see only a sac . Xx

At 5 weeks yes you don’t always see anything else. Often there’s a sac and yolk sac but it depends if you’re just 5 weeks or almost 6 weeks. Your scan in a weeks time should be more conclusive.

38andtrying · 30/03/2023 13:44

I cannot say for certain but i believe it is quite normal at 5 weeks to only see a sac, that is based on mt reading loads of threads on here of a similar nature, i haven't had such an early scan before, earliest I have had is 6 weeks.

HCG level sounds good for 5 weeks but they will also be interested in how it has changed by the next reading (should roughly double in 48hrs) - sounds like yours is on track so far.

As for the scan, agree with the others, from what I've seen on these threads it's very normal for a scan under 6 weeks to only show the sac.

Everything crossed for you that the pregnancy keeps developing well. 😊

Hi , oh how horrible , I am now currently 16 weeks pregnant . I had a cyst so was causing everything to hide . I went back at 6+6 and baby was there with a heartbeat. Ever since then I've had complications. Hope your ok? How far along are you xx

I am currently 5+4 but she said yesterday at my scan I am 5+5 based on the yolk sac.
I have another scan a week on Monday and should be 7 weeks then. I have had 3 chemical pregnancies before this so I am really scared at every twinge and every bit of pressure.

sorry to hear you have had complications and hope all is ok? Xx

I'm ok now , but I was same as you scans every week to check on baby . Hopefully you get a positive outcome on your next scan. Cramping is normal in pregnancy it's just if bleeding it's a concern . Sending baby dust your way xx
