Creepy 32 week 2d scan

My 32 week scan pic is proper creepy and has worried me abit 😬 has anyone else had super creepy scan pics ?

Oh lord! Don't worry, they are often super creepy. We'd look creepy too on an ultrasound image. I promise you your baby doesn't really look like this!

If it helps, my dd WAS a funny looking baby, who scowled at strangers. People used to kind of lean in to her pram to coo then pull away when she growled at them. One friend said she looked like like a middle aged accountant with a combover, and I should rename her Melvin.

I didn't see it then, of course. I thought she looked like Ausrey Hepburn. I felt sorry for all the other mums with their potato-faced spawn.

Ha it’s just the eye socket creeping you out. It’s got cute chubby cheeks! Sure it will come out lovely. My 12 week scan with dd1 was terrifying. She looked like some kind of jimminy cricket/ alien.

Gonna have to add an after pic in 6 weeks when he is born lol

My eldest DS had one similar. They don't actually look like that don't worry 😅.

I took my son to the hospital at 10 days old and the doctor leaned in to look at him recoiled and said he looked like a gremlin!! 🤣 He's gorgeous now!!

I never had a cute scan pic. My DS"s 12-week scan looked like something a teenage boy would draw on a bus stop (the sonographer was trying so hard not to laugh, and when I asked the sex at the end, she went 'Oh, thank goodness you wanted to know!') and his 20-week scan looked like Skeletor. He turned out gorgeous though.

Yours is pretty impressively scary! You'll laugh about it once you have a gorgeous squidgy newborn, I promise!

One of my DD1s scan pics showed only the legs, which looked exactly like frog legs. She seemed to be bouncing off the uterus wall. When she came out, she was the least jumpy kid you could imagine, took forever to get both feet off the ground at once... I wouldn't worry.

Had my 20 week scan 3 weeks ago with this creepy little memento to take away! They really are a bit freaky face on!

The hospital gave me a scan picture like that about 24 hours before dd was born, thankfully she came out a lot cuter!

Face on always looks creepy, even much earlier in pregnancy, so don't worry! I'm sure your baby will be cute in real life 😂.
