My friend has just found out she is pg, she is to scared to tell her mum yet.
Her mum is a midwife and she wants to know if her mum can be her midwife.
Does anyone know if she can?

kay - no idea i'm afraid but why is she afraid to tell her mum the midwife?

Yes there are no rules to say that she can't although I wouldn't want to deliver my dd. (well she is only 3, but if she were older I wouldn't)

of course she can.

My friend did all my ante natal care and delivered the baby even though I don't live on her patch IYKWIM

Yes, she can have her mum be her midwife. Assuming her mum is still registered, that is.

Why is she scared to tell her, though?

She dumped her dp of 8 years a week ago as he wanted to settle down and have kids etc and she still wants to party etc they're both 25.
Her mum wasn't very happy with her and she thinks her mum will be angry.
Which she wont be I dont think
