A couple of questions at 35 weeks

Hello. I have a couple of questions I am hoping someone can help with.

The first is night sweats. Didn't suffer with this at all with dd or ds, but am sweating horrendously with this one. Seem fine during the day, but at night I literally have sweat trickling off me. Saw m/w on Monday and asked about it. He said it can be normal or it can be a sign of medical problems if accompanied by other symptoms (didn't say what those symptoms might be though!). he said if I'm worried to see GP.

So, do I need to see my GP? I really hate going to GP with unnecessary complaints but don't want to ignore something potentially serious!

My next question is about braxton hicks. Again, didn't get them noticeably with either dd or ds. Only ever knew I was having one if I happened to scratch my belly or something at the right moment. But this time I have been getting them lots since about 28 weeks. Have been aware of them because of the tightenings (no actual discomfort) up until recently. But the last week or so they are starting to feel uncomfortable and I am actually getting cramps low down late evenings. Does this sound normal at my stage of pg?

Thank you!

Don't know about the nightsweats, perhaps hormones???

Braxton hicks I would think are more likely as this is your ?3rd baby, I suppose your body is just more aware of what it needs to do, (and your muscles will be more relaxed than they were with prev pgs)
