Hello everyone. I gave birth to my daughter in January and since then my husband and I have been using condoms as our method of contraception. [I've been waiting on my postnatel check to discuss either going on the pill as that's what I was on before I came off it to get pregnant, or to go on the implant]. On Sunday [26/03/23] we had one fail on us. I went to the chemist the day after [Mon 27/03/23] for a morning after pill. Since then I have noticed a stringy blood tinged discharge with slight cramps. The pharmacist did say there may be some spotting, but Is there a chance I could have already ovulated? On the day the condom failed I was on day 6 of my cycle. So my period had literally just finished. I told the pharmacist my period dates and she doesn't seem concerned and reckons it was outside my fertile window. I finally had my postnatel check with my doctor on 28/03/23 and told him about my dates and taking a morning after pill and he wasn't concerned either. But a part of me still thinks I've conceived. Anyone else ever had a similar experience? I can't wait another three weeks for my next period as it would have driven me mad by then. When's the earliest I can do a test? Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thank you in advance :)
