Pregnant after Ectopic

Hello Ladies,
I just found out I am pregnant today, I am so shocked as I was not trying at all this month as we have been so busy with a house move.
I have had this niggling pain in my lower groin area right side for about 4 days now which is making me petrified of another Ectopic.
I had an Ectopic last year in august which was on my right side.
The pregnancy was removed and my tube was repair and lasered closed.
Unfortunately as it's the same side I am panicking.
I'm 37 years old and I know the risk is high especially after previous Ectopic.
EPU have a scan booked for me tomorrow morning and they have taken bloods.
I am posting as I wondered if anyone had a successful pregnancy after an Ectopic and their tube was not removed just repaired?
Thanks in advance x

Warm hugs for you.
I am 28 years old and found out that I am 5w5d pregnant.
I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2020 in which I lost my tube. We just started trying to conceive so this pregnancy came as a surprise.
I have been super worried and anxious about this pregnancy and I amhaving pain on my lower abdomen and back and this is scary.
yesterday evening and today I had some spotting so I went to my doctor, she did a quick scan and to me relief the implant is on the right place this time. although she gave me medication and two injections following 15 days medical leave from job.
Just praying this pregnancy will last without any complications.

Your rainbow will be there soon...

Hi yes I have an update, my hormone levels more than doubled each time, I then had a scan 4.5 weeks and they saw 2mm thing in my uterus.
I was still panicking so they asked me to come back at 5 weeks and then they finally saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac all in the right place.
I have had some spotting since then over few days so counting down till tomorrow for a private scan.
It is possible so please try not to panic, the good news is the pain I had from right side (where I had my op) was just my wound area area throbbing a little bit where my ectopic was removed last year and all the hormone changes.
I actually ovulated from the LEFT side and the egg came from the left side this time however the right side still hurts which I can only put down to hormone changes and operated on area which is all I have found online.
Keep us updated 💐

Yes I got pregnant after an ectopic and have just spent the day at the beach with the three year old DD it gave me, ovulated from the same side as my ectopic too which was confirmed by a scan. I had ongoing pain and sometimes still do at the site of my ectopic. I was told it's nerve pain tho I did shit myself completely til we had a placement scan

That’s amazing I’m so glad everything was fine and thankyou so much, I’m hoping for the same outcome 🤞🏼 I didn’t have surgery I had expectant management so hoping like you it’s just because of hormones 🤞🏼just trying to stay positive the pain is defo different to last time, lot lower and been more frequent so really hoping everything is ok 😞 so scary! Xxx ❤️

I'm sure your tube has slight scaring from where the Ectopic was so hopefully its the same as what I experienced just a bit of pain due to hormones on the scar area.
Will they scan you?
If not try to get into somewhere private xx

my fiancé has said the same when I first got the pain that it could be that 🤞🏼 this pain has began so much sooner than last time as well, I found out at 3 weeks 5 days and started the day after where as my previous my pain started at 5.5 weeks and tbh the hospital havent been any good and wasn’t last time it happened either, I went in for bloods which were told I was low but they said they weren’t gonna follow up on unless I have bleeding and then they don’t wanna scan untill 6 weeks and that’s not untill 17th april xxx

I would book in asap with a private scan and then insist on bloods with your hospital x

That's what we are here for :))
I also couldn't talk to anyone about it as everyone I knew had normal straightforward pregnancies.
Here was the only place I got support and info.
The pain was different.
The pain I had this time on my wound side was the pain I had for a few months after my op when I ovulated from that side.
I still get it now when I know everything's fine and in the right place.
There are many places open today for scans as today is a normal day just have a look online and try to book somewhere as it will give you peace of mind - and now at this stage would defo see something on the scan x
