Im really confused - I have agonising boobs, really quite severe nausea and last Friday I had about 8 hours of implantation bleeding (not too heaving, very pink but noticeable) and feel super dizzy. today should be first day of period and I've waited to test until now, but they're all negative? Any one had this? I don't know what to think! Thanks so much x

I've experienced similar in the past and it was because I was not pregnant.

Sometimes the mind plays tricks on ur hormones, and makes u have all the symptoms of pregnancy without being pregnant, the best way to be sure is go to to the doctors and ask for a hcg level blood test

Twoinapod · 29/03/2023 16:10

Hormones can cause all those symptoms not necessarily pregnancy ones. If you had implanted last Friday it should definitely be showing on a test by now. Trust the tests not the symptoms

Try another test, if it’s negative then i’m sorry m but it might be a very different period for you. I had very similar symptoms and it actually turned out to be a uti and my period.

Onemyownhere · 29/03/2023 16:52

I had an uti an missed my period for over 2 months and got faint positives, my belly was swollen and gradually the swelling went down after the antibiotics, then straight after that i got gastroenteritis and now suffer from heartburn to the point i have to take medication for the heartburn... Our bodies go through a lot 🙈

I think the likelihood is you aren't pregnant, BUT if you're periods are irregular or you're not absolutely sure when you ovulated then it's still possible.

I didn't get a positive test until I was 18 dpo - scans confirmed my dates were correct. Previous to that I had tested at 12dpo and negative! That is highly unusual though!!
