I'm going to amsterdam in April to a weekend rave, I'll be about 5 months pregnant. Do you reckon it's bad to expose the baby to loud techno!

They do say that babies when they are born they can reconise the music their mums listened to during their pregnancy

maybe it might help - I don't want a baby that jumps everytime they hear a loud noise and the bpm should match their heart rate!

My raving days are long gone, but when I was growing DD she was subjected to The Killers at full volume every time I got in the car. And she loved the very loud Jools Holland gig with me bouncing around while 8 months pg.

Ha that's made me giggle, I think I might end up going to the odd night out where horribly loud trance/hard house is going to be played, nice to know it's not just me who is bonkers!

Well it's my boyfriends friend who had tickets because he is in to that sort of thing - I do like techno and used to DJ but frankly I've not been on the party scene really for years - I'm more a radio four person now..Still I am excited about it but am expecting to get bored after a couple of hours at which point I will go back to the hotel to watch telly and sleep!
