No movement at 19 weeks?

I'm starting to freak out a little about the lack of movements from baby. This isn't my first baby and I'm sure I had felt something way before now with previous babies.
Midwife said it may be an anterior placenta but I won't find out for another 2 weeks at the scan.
I've asked if I can see her before then to listen in to baby's heart because my anxiety is going crazy :(
Is anyone else nearly half way and still not feeling baby?

I didn't feel proper movement until about 26 weeks with an anterior placenta! Hoping everything is fine for you :) <3

Thankyou @Flowersflowers121 I really do hope its an anterior placenta and that baby is all okay! The waiting to find out is horrible.

Could you afford a private scan? They're about £50/60 where I live.
I had about ten during my pg with DD, now 4 months. Crazy, but I'm older and they massively helped me with the anxiety.

I had a private scan 4 weeks ago and everything was fine, my next is in 2 week so I will probably hold off until then. I just think I should have felt something by now :( @Ishacoco

I didn't feel a thing until past 20 weeks. It's a worrying time but it is normal x

I had a really quiet baby and so little movement until he was born, and even then he remained an amazing sleeper and at age 1 still is! He has perfectly normal energy during the day now and a lot of it but for months I kept wondering if he was ok and had several checks at the hospital too.

I didn’t start feeling anything properly until about 23 weeks. At my 20 weeks scan she was rolling around and kicking but I couldn’t feel a thing! 💕

I only started feeling things around 21/22 weeks - now it’s non stop kicking and squirming! So try not to worry too much, I’m sure baby will make themself known soon.

Thankyou everyone for your comments, it’s reassuring to hear that it isn’t just me. I think
it is worrying me because I’ve felt way more before now in previous pregnancies. Now I’m getting paranoid looking at previous bump photos thinking I looked way bigger before now too!
my midwife has fit me in tomorrow morning to listen for his heartbeat so that will be really reassuring.

I'm sure your baby is fine, op. They vary so much. A friend of mine did not feel one movement from her baby throughout her entire pregnancy but produced a perfectly normal, active and healthy child.

Good luck.
