If I got a BFP on FRER on x date how many weeks would it be?

Hi I posted in conception also
recurrent miscarriages, recent mc so no LMP
I had a definite faint BFP on FRER on 6th March (& cramps about 5 days before that)
EPU scan dated as 5 weeks a week ago so 6 weeks now
for me this seems too small to have got a bfp on 6th March
my last mc it measured much smaller than it should be despite having heartbeat etc so I’m a bit anxious it’s just too small
again.
They wouldn’t listen to my dates (I think conceived around 20th/22nd feb) but I may be off I guess

So with a BFP 6th March (albeit FRER) how many weeks would that be? How soon can you really get a faint line? Thanks

I’d guesstimate around 6+3 so they’re in the right ballpark I feel.

Let’s say your faint positive happened on 10dpo. That puts ovulation around 24th of February - 14 days (they always say ovulation is day 14 for calculation purposes even if it isn’t) and that gives you an LMP of 10th Feb which would make you 6+3 or 6+4.

It’s really hard to date at 5 weeks because the slightest inaccuracy can throw your dates off. Do you have another scan booked?

Hi thank you

I thought I probably ovulated earlier than that if I had a positive at that point
however what you’ve said makes sense
I guess you can get a positive that soon
The scan saying 5 weeks was last Wednesday so it would be 5+6 now according to them

I was convinced that it was too small for the dates and have been telling myself it’s another miscarriage
but maybe you’re right it could be accurate (ish) I couldn’t see it that clearly before thank you
I have another scan next week ( previously it was a PUL and suspected ectopic due to odd blood lurking about) I guess I will know more then
Thanks

Also it looked like a very irregular sac so I am somewhat pessimistic about it being ok this time but you’ve helped with the dates thank you

I’m sorry, I know the waiting sucks and I know the feeling of being convinced it won’t work out to protect yourself from having your hopes so cruelly dashed.

I really hope it works out for you this time.

Ok so I been pregnant a few times and I test a lot I’m mega impatient. The earliest I have gotten a positive on a FRER is 7dpo…. 7 days after sex and ovulation. This was our planned son he’s 4. With my baby girl she 6 months old it was 8dpo. I mean they were really faint a dr wouldn’t say they were positive if you went in with a urine sample lol but they had very faint lines on. I have pics but it doesn’t show up on the camera so soon but it was there

7 & 8 days - wow !

It was very faint, showed up on pics just about on 6th March
