I fell today on our drive on my hands and knees. I'm now worried I may have hurt or dislodged the baby if that's possible? I've not really had any pain other than the odd niggles I've been getting and no bleeding.

This happened at 11.30am. Just looking for reassurance I guess. Have txd midwife but not heard anything back yet x

Baby is so teeny tiny that no harm will have come to the baby. Baby is about the size of a sesame seed so a fall like you describe or any fall really at 5 weeks will not do anything.

@OhhhhhhhhBiscuits thank you for taking the time to respond. The logical part of me is trying to tell myself the same x

Hope you're feeling OK OP. I've done some research into the risks at 5 weeks, mainly because I'm still doing sports and the level of trauma needed to inflict damage at this early stage would be akin to that sustained in a serious accident.

Given you softened your fall with your hands and knees, I'm sure everything will be ok.

I did something similar when it was icy and was fine. It sounds like your hands and knees took the brunt of it and you shouldn't worry.

Thank you everyone. Yes they did. My knee is purple today but everything seems to be fine today x

Hey, just out of curiosity what stage did you play sport too? I’m wondering if I’d be able to play in first trimester
