End of pregnancy sinus infection

I'm due to get induced in less than 3 weeks but I think I have a sinus infection. Had a blocked and running nose for nearly 2 weeks and it's bright green and lumpy (sorry tmi) and my face is sore and have a bad headache. It's mainly on one side.
I don't want antibiotics but I have no energy at all and do not want to give birth like this!
Any recommendations of what I can do to naturally get rid of it? Or does anyone have experience of them taking this long to naturally run its course? Or should I just give in and go to the GP?

Solidarity. I am prone to sinus infections, and have a cracking one at the moment while being 21 weeks pregnant (had it for past 2 weeks too). So far, majority cleared up by themselves without the need for antibiotics, but OMG, sinusitis whilst pregnant is such a miserable experience. Can't take anything for it, can't breathe, can't sleep.
I'd say keep going with saline sprays and what not, and it it all gets too much, then surrender to GP.

I would almost certainly prescribe you antibiotics after that duration, especially if you have facial tenderness. Go see your GP!
Hipe it improves quickly OP

Also lying awake with this!! Didn't realise was thing!

Thinking of hot flannel over my face, but if I move, I'll just upset my bladder... hate not being able to take anything!

Sounds very much like a sinus infection. Why are you against taking antibiotics? I would be keen to get better well before the baby arrives. You won't have a chance to recover if you're still sick when the baby comes, and you'll need your rest.

Just some solidarity, I'm 37+5 and spent the weekend on IV antibiotics and fluids for a chest infection. Am much better but still rotten and now back home just hoping I can fully recover before baby makes their appearance.
I would see GP and ask for antibiotics!

I hope you feel better soon!

I gave in this morning and called the GP and got the prescription, haven't collected them yet but if I don't see improvement by tomorrow I'll have to get them!

Never had a sinus infection before, but feel for those who get them as it's been miserable!

Only against antibiotics because I'm allergic to penicillin and there's only certain ones I can take and have had to take them so much throughout this pregnancy for UTIs, I don't want to keep taking them and build a resistance!
