hey mamas
im so confused right now
we have been ttc and I had some faint lines, but i got my period this month bang on 14dpo. So I figured they were either indent lines or it was a chemical pregnancy. my period was normal.

now I’m on cycle day 7, and I don’t usually get fertile cervical mucus till way later in the month (I ovulate day 18/19), but I have had a lot of cervical mucous and it’s been very stretchy and slippery. I figured I must be randomly ovulating early? It’s very unlike me to have a lot of cm this early in my cycle.

I had a negative opk. I then had the crazy thought to take a pregnancy test - I had heard of women not knowing they were pregnant because they bled etc
so I did it…and sure enough there was a faint but definitely there second line.

now I’m just even more confused. Can anyone shed light on this?

It might not have been your period, that might have been an implantation bleed! I thought I was having a period but I had an implantation bleed that lasted about five days and was like a light period.
Take some more tests! Fingers crossed for you

Just for future reference an ovulation test will also show positive if you are pregnant so it sounds like a faulty test or evap on the pregnancy test if the ovulation test showed as negative. My ovulation tests showed really dark lines even though the pregnancy tests were faint
