Hi beautiful ladies ❤️❤️

I'm pregnant with baby number 3 . Which was a shock to me .

But I'm wondering when did you start showing with your 3rd ?

My first I showed at 8 weeks
And not sure about 2nd as fell pregnant 7 weeks later (10 months apart)

But am happy with this one 🤍

Congratulations OP!! ❤

For my son I started seeing an early bump at around 11 weeks
For my 1st daughter I started showing at around the same time of 10-11 weeks I think?
For my 2nd daughter I started showing a lot later at 15 weeks haha.

I’m pregnant with my third and I definitely have a small bump (Lower tummy so you can’t see it when I’m wearing normal/baggy tops) and I’m 12 weeks. I’m in maternity jeans already as my normal ones won’t do up! With my first I barely showed until 20 weeks but my second was like this one. 🤷‍♀️

I'm the same , I do a have a pouch tho (embrace my body) due to emergency c section with my second , but I showed early with my 1st and I thought you show more earlier on in the 3rd pregnancy, aww when are you due xx

JumbledE · 26/03/2023 19:51

I have ended up with two C-sections so actually maybe that is contributing! After my first my stomach definitely lost all it’s muscle strength so I think it’s probably just too weak to hold back any bump anymore 😂

Due start of October 😊

I’d say it was bloating which is a super lovely side affect in the first trimester. With my second I bloated so bad that at my 8 week booking in appointment the midwife thought I was 8 months 🙈 thankfully with my third I haven’t bloated anywhere near as badly

SmileyClare · 26/03/2023 19:59

8 weeks is very early to have a visible bump. The foetus would be the size of a small raspberry surrounded by fluid- I guess the amount of fluid could vary in different pregnancies.

Of course a multiple pregnancy would show earlier..eek!
Impossible to date an early pregnancy based on a bump (or lack of)
Your dating scan will give you a better idea of due date.

Anyway congratulations Flowers
Baby bumps are beautiful x

I'll be very worried if twins I feel like I have twins now haha 😂 as mine are 10 months apart now . Now ages 5&6 my first scan is 25th April as that's when they could only get me in but I've got midwife 3rd April .

Thank you for your helpful reply I appreciate it xx

I’m not sure anyone can judge from your photos as we have no idea of your pre pregnancy figure. I can’t see an obvious bump, I wouldn’t look at you and think “pregnant “

I mean my husband could put a photo of his belly on here and we could all guess how far gone he is 😂

I thought so , I just feel I'm getting fuller and fuller each day luckily I can hide it well , it's so hard isn't the more pregnancies u have xx

You have a lovely age gap with your older (near!) twins and the new baby.
Good luck, I’m sure they’ll be very excited x

100% I loved that comment sorry it made me laugh . Defo agree I did have a pouch from previous pregnancy which I embrace due to c section . But it was tiny my pouch xx

I wasn’t sure of dates with my first. It’s nice to know isn’t it? Hope you have a better idea from your dating scan.

Id put my husband’s belly at about 5 months gone btw 🤣

LeeanneD11 · 26/03/2023 20:10

@SmileyClare

There is a question that I've been going crazy on lol 😂

Would my midwife tell me how far gone I am? Or would it my scan? Basically I'm trying to figure it out myself 😂🤦‍♀️

Last period was 20th jan 2023

Implant removal 3rd feb - unprotected sex 5th feb

13th spotting one day only when wiping

No period since then dates .

How far a long would that make me xx

Due date was worked out by adding 280 days to the first day of your last period when I was pregnant. We’re going back a few years though!

12 week scan takes measurements using the ultra sound image to give a more accurate date.
My calculations always seemed to be wrong so I’m probably not the best person to ask 😳

Erm I’d go on 5th Feb (sex without contraception) plus 280 days so due 11th November?
As a rough guide?

I thought you count from first day of your last period so make you 9+2?

JumbledE · 26/03/2023 20:27

My bump starts from really low
down, not sure if that’s normal or not but that’s how all of mine have been. I was crazy bloated at 8 weeks as obviously hormones are going a bit nuts!

Your stomach doesn’t look ‘pregnant’ but it can’t be unusual to feel thicker/bloated at this point.

JumbledE · 26/03/2023 20:29

also my bumps are always harder and like a round shape that I can feel, particularly if I lay on my back. It’s how I know if it’s a bump or bloat!
