Bloody show and cervix - labour soon?

Hi there

looking for some help!

I had my bloody show yesterday (after having sex) and at my MW appt afterwards she told me I am 1cm effaced, 1cm dilated, have a medium posterior cervix and baby is -2 station.

Does it sound like labour could be soon? Baby position and bloody show make me think yes, but cervix sounds unfavourable!

Waters have since broken but no sign of contractions. Anyone have any idea what I can do to start them? See conflicting advice re resting vs moving

I tried everything with my first after waters broke but nothing seemed to work. Have you let midwives know your waters have gone? Your contractions will need to have started in the next 24 hours or you’ll need to get induced

Yes, have to go back 12.30 tomorrow if no luck before!
