What's the best pram for newborn and toddler? I will have a newborn and a 23 month old and a just turned 3 year old what suggestions do yous have? Should I get double and buggy board? I need something easy and lightweight as I don't drive and will be getting the bus here and there so has to fit on the bus! Will my 3 year old not need a pram anymore?? Thanks

The mountain buggy double,
babyjogger city double
bugaboo donkey and
out about nipper double are popular. Not sure how well they will fit a bus. The mountain buggy is ment to be narrow.

I have an almost three year old and have just brought a bigger pushchair as still do the nursery run on foot so about 3 miles or so all together each day and expect to take the pushchair until she starts school at 4.5 so we are not late. (I hate strollers/ unbrella type pushchair so that's why I have gone bigger not smaller)

Some people love buggy board others hate them - the toddler doesn't like it or the parents get annoyed going up and down curbs. Do you have friends that have one you could try.

Thanks for replying I will need to figure out how I will do the nursery run with 3! I do still think my 3 year old would need a pram after nursery too but the thought of getting a triple pram fills me with dread. I will have a look at these prams, not to sure about the buggy board as I just imagine my 3 year old refusing to stand on it or maybe running away 😂 but thank U

To start with use your double and a sling for newborn. By the time the baby gets a bit hefty the three yr old will be ok walking.

My pal with twins has the outnabout nipper double and it’s a fab buggy. It’s slim as far as doubles go but it’d still be pretty risky on the bus - I’m not sure many would be safe unless you were planning to get both kids out and collapse down? Also, do you do a lot of walking? If so id probably aim to get a double but use it for your 2 toddlers and have the baby in a sling. But that’s coming from someone who’s 3 yo isn’t the greatest walker and absolutely hates the buggy board. Some 3 yo are completely fine out of the pushchair. I’d recommend trying to borrow a buggy board to try before committing money.

Could you baby wear while the 3 year old still needs the pushchair? If baby enjoys a sling / carrier and you’re able to it could be an option for a while.

I'd recommend the joie tandem double for the bus as where i live a side by side pushchair wouldn't fit into the bus. It's cheap less than £200, it's abit heavy but i've had no problems with it.

I also second PP that said use a sling for the baby until they're too heavy and put the bigger two in the pushchair for the nursery run.

Yea we walk loads my 2 year old is great at walking but it's just the listening she has a problem with like taking my hand but yeah baby in sling sounds like the best bet and hopefully by the time baby's old enough my 3 year old will be better at listening 😂 wishful thinking, thanks everyone
