Help with Pregnancy Vitamins!

The pregnancy vitamin world seems to have moved on since I was last pregnant 5 years ago. I’m going to avoid pregnacare as it caused spotting for me but can anyone recommend a good vitamin that covers all the bases but also contains choline which I’ve heard is important?

I can't really offer any advice but I've got Asda own pregnancy vitamins, they were on offer down to £3 and 3 for 2. They taste absolutely disgusting but if they are doing what they need to be doing I'll put up with the taste for a few seconds whilst swallowing them

I didn't get on with pregnacare so swapped to the Bassetts Pregnancy multivitamin because they're chewable!

I'm now 23 weeks and all is going well x

I used pregnacare with my first two, never heard of them causing spotting. This time I’m using proceive

I tried different brands and they all made my sickness much worse. My midwife gave me boxes of NHS pregnancy vitamins which didn't make me feel sick and obviously had all the vitamins NHS recommend for pregnancy xx

I like the BioCare pregnancy vitamins. They contain choline and methylfolate (better absorbed than folic acid). They also don't contain any fillers or other unnecessary additives. Recommended to me by a nutritionist

I'm taking folic acid with vit B
Vit c and vit d.

IVF pregnancy and this is what was recommended to me x

Same as PMA, I took folic acid, vit D, C and B. Remember that as soon as they stick a label saying 'pregnancy' on the vitamins it goes up in price! You can keep it simple if you want to 😊

Thanks everyone, I went with the Proceive pregnancy supplements as they were the only ones in Boots with choline
