Hello! Just curious really!

I'm week 16 on Monday, and it's my second.
My first pregnancy seems a blur and I had anterior placenta so felt kicks at approx 24 weeks.

I read online that I should begin feeling kicks week 16, due to it being second, but I've not felt movements yet (even flutters) and have little symptoms so eager to feel the little one.

Thank you! 🙏🏼

About 20 weeks, usually. Give or take 2 weeks either side.

I had an anterior placenta with my first and started feeling a bubble popping type sensation at 16 weeks. With my second it was around 18 weeks which I was panicked about as I also expected to feel it sooner. However I have an anterior placenta this time so it’s not surprising.

swissrollisntswiss · 24/03/2023 21:34

Sorry should say posterior placenta with my first.

After my 20 week scan with my third. Can't remember with my first and second.

I felt the first flutter at 16 weeks with my second. By 19-20 weeks it was becoming a lot more regular but still here and there

I think I was 17/18 weeks (this is my first pregnancy) - posterior placenta - I first noticed the light type of fluttery movements. I'm 26 weeks now and have very strong movements that be felt and seen from the outside.

It’s completely normal not to feel movement until up to 24 weeks. Many people feel movements earlier with subsequent pregnancies but it’s not necessarily always true. 16 weeks is around the earliest you can expect to feel movement

20 weeks. Felt a roll like a rollercoaster.

I’m on #2 and have felt them from week 17 this time but not the big kicks like at the end of last pregnancy, just small pop like kicks

Shinea · 25/03/2023 09:16

Even I m on #2, 18 weeks pregnant and I haven't felt movements yet!! Fingers crossed 🤞

Ah thanks all - that's reassuring - I'll keep waiting for the little kicks to appear 🤞🏼🤞🏼
