Early positive pregnancy test

Hi all,

Random questions but it's been on my mind. This cycle I got a positive pregnancy test result at 8dpo. This was after two chemical miscarriages back to back. I am currently 16dpo and tests are progressing massively.

In my previous pregnancies I tested positive around 13dpo and after a missed period. The tests were much fainter and got fainter before knowing I was pregnant for a full week and then resulted in miscarriage.

I wondered if an earlier positive pregnancy test result meant I implanted earlier this cycle? This would be the longest duration I've known I'm pregnant for and I guess I was wondering if I've passed a mini milestone.

Thank you in advance x

Hi, yes it would mean you implanted earlier. Implantation can happen anytime from 6DPO to 12DPO.

I've had the same this time, very positive test on 10DPO and I feel sure it would have shown at 9 and maybe earlier. With DC #1 I didn't get a positive until at least 14DPO. Fingers crossed for you x

Ahh thank you @Tryingtoconceivenumber2, that has offered me reassurance! It's a small victory 🙏

Congrats on your rainbow. Have you done anything different this time? I contacted my EPU but they won't see me for another 5 weeks and then they will offer me progesterone all being well xx

Ah sorry if that was miss leading #2 is not a rainbow I just wanted to show the vast difference in when people test positive. I ment the same as in very early positive test also which was different for me this time x
