Am I still pregnant?

My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. So when I got pregnant again, I went for a private 6 week scan for reassurance. When I went I could have been anything from 4 weeks to just shy of 6 weeks. It was deemed a pregnancy of unknown location and they said that my endometrium (womb lining) is really thin so I was referred to the early pregnancy assessment clinic. I spoke to them this week and they confirmed I had lost the baby. I had light bleeding beginning of last week so this is when they believe it happened. However my nausea has not gone. It did diminish a little bit for a few days but was very much there and now the nausea is worse than ever to the point where it was debilitating last night and I was on the verge of throwing up. Nausea is still very bad and I can’t stand the smell of coffee etc. Has anyone had this or can tell me what may be going on? Could I actually still be pregnant and it was too early?

I dont know much sorry but I cant imagine EPU would confirm a loss if they wasn't sure. Did they scan you? Sorry for what you are going through.

Sorry for your loss. I think it can take a while for the hormones to settle back down.

Thank you. The EPU didn’t scan me and they didn’t know or understand why I still had symptoms but they’re estimating the loss at nearly 2 weeks ago and my symptoms have just gotten worse. I was potentially only 4 weeks at the scan

I'm so sorry for your lose.my SIL lost her baby at 16 weeks and she was still feeling sick for the week up to delivering him. Sometimes it just takes time for your hormones to settle back down unfortunately.

I could have wrote this myself I had a private scan way way too early because of a bleed and they said the same pregnancy of unknown location and referred me to EPU. EPU scanned me and saw the beginnings of a gestational sac. I have to go back again next week for another scan where I'll hopefully see more. I don't know how they can say you've miscarried without scanning you!! Have you taken another HPT? Are the lines still dark? I would get back onto the EPU x

How on earth do they know if they've not scanned you then?? What are they basing this on?

You could request HCG bloods from the GP?
