Hello, I’m new here and would like some advice please, I’ve previously had a chemical pregnancy in January and have just found out I’m pregnant again… I think.

I started spotting on the 17/03 up until the 21/03 which was brown discharge.. I took a couple of FRER test which was a BFN.. I had no idea when I was due on as I ovulated later in my cycle as I started tracking it… I took a test yesterday on the 23/03 which was BFP (shocked) since yesterday I’ve been having craps, bloating and constant twinges in my right side? Am I having another chemical pregnancy.. I’m not spotting as yet, but I’m really not hopeful due to previous cramps and pains in my sides.

i just don’t know if the spotting before hand is a bad sign as every doctor I see said spotting is NOT normal… Please someone give reassurance :( I think the spotting was too late for my cycle as i usually only have a 28 day one… thanks is advance.

Hi and congratulations on your bdp 😊 sorry to hear about your loss in January, but please be aware every pregnancy is different. I know how anxious you will be as I mc at 8 weeks back in October and I'm now 7 weeks tomorrow.

The spotting was most likely implantation bleeding and the cramps sound like normal early pregnancy symptoms. Your body is changing to accommodate a baby and it starts as soon as it implants into your uterus. Try to take it easy and see how you get on, unfortunately there's nothing you can do to stop a mc but the chances are you'll be just fine.

Thank you so much for replying, I think I’m just soo concerned as it feels like I’ve got a constant stitch, very bloated and feel as though I’m coming on my period! Can’t help but worry!

congrats that your 7 weeks though, nice to know others are just as worried as I am xx

I felt exactly like that a few weeks ago, that heavy dull aching feeling. Had a scan yesterday and saw baby's heartbeat, it was like a weight lifted and I felt so much better. I think I'll be anxious all the way through but I'm taking it day by day and then hopefully I'll get to a point where I can take it week by week 🥰

You'll get plenty of kind words on here and words of reassurance but if you are concerned at all them get on touch with early pregnancy unit x

Would you say the niggly pain is normal and alright as it’s in the right side of pelvis, I know I’m only 4 weeks but it’s driving me crazy 😂 and I have the most negative people around me who I just can’t talk to about anything as they just say none of this is normal. Just spoke to my doctor who also said the spotting that I had for 5 days is also not a good sign 😩 x

I got niggly pains either side and I know the slightest thing makes you question everything. Instead of your go ring your local early pregnancy unit and talk to them, if they suspect anything is a miss then they will want to see you but they probably wouldn't be able to scan you until you're 6 weeks x

Hey every one. Please help. I got a BFP at 10 DPO. I’m now 12 DPO and I have a constant twinge on the left of my V, I also had this in my chemical 2 months ago and am so scared I’m losing the pregnancy again. Does anyone know if a constant twinge is a good or bad sign ?
