DVP at 36+5d

Hello

I had a scan yesterday which showed the DVP of fluid to be 8.2cm at 36+5d. The sonographer made a comment that this is slightly
higher than the cut off of 8cm so she would try and measure all 4 corners of fluid to get an AFI measurement instead.

the AFI measurement was 18.8cm. Which she said is within the guidelines of 5-25cm so the DVP wasn’t an issue and could be baby’s position causing the deeper pool.

i have looked online however and it seems to confirm just the one deeper pool does indicate too much fluid. I rang the hospital back to query and they said no it’s fine it doesn’t need any investigation.

I don’t have any more appointments set up with the hospital or even a midwife before my due date so feel worried about leaving it potentially 5 weeks with no follow up if it is going to continue to rise?!

I have seen it can be linked to cord prolapse in labour, baby not swallowing properly etc so feel anxious about just brushing it off.

Anyone been in this position? 🙈

Thank you x
