Possible ectopic

I’ve been having bad stabbing right sided lower back pain that comes and goes and paracetamol doesn’t touch it, went to EPU and am waiting for a scan. Has anyone had this and been okay? Had a miscarriage earlier this year and my heads now all over the place.

Hello! I've previously had an ectopic (after a miscarriage too!) and I had no pain with it, just bleeding that started and stopped. I only got diagnosed because my hcg was rising even though they thought I was miscarrying. The pain came a bit later after they'd already seen it on my ovary.

The pregnancy AFTER that though, I had right sided pain lower down and was adamant it was ectopic again. My GP managed to get me seen by SAU that day where they did a scan and the pregnancy was in the right place. No reason for that pain! I think it's common to get a cyst after ovulation and sometimes that can be the reason for some pain?

You're in the right place though and I have everything crossed for you that it isn't ectopic!

I’m 5+2 but pains started at 4+6

It might be too early for them to see. my pain started around 6 weeks and got worse. It look 2 weeks, 3 scans and blood tests every other day to eventually diagnose.

🤞 yours is just a bit of ovary pain if you're that early. If it is an ectopic I'm so sorry. It is an awful experience to go through :(

They want me to wait until I’m six weeks for the scan as they think I’m stable currently and for the reasons you highlighted @mumoffourminimes
