No my pregnancy will be and has been exactly the same as anyone elses. Only one thing, since I have had years of infertility, plus 2 ectopic pregnancies I have probably suffered more from anxiety than I would have for a natural conception. Everything seems to be going well though, Thank God.
I can see you have joined our May ante-natal group. Your a bit ahead of me though. Look forward to talking to you more.

Hi Newbishand, I know it was an odd question but i didnt know if you needed more monitoring or if you were taking any drugs relating to staying pregnant etc.
anxiety, well i think we all get a dose of that especially those poor souls who have experienced ectopic and mmc etc.
There is always something to stress about which is why mumsnet is sucha great place, i am so glad i joined.

I don't mind answering any questions. I'm so happy to be pregnant. I did have to take progestrone for the first three months but that's all over now. My diagnosis is blocked tubes so once a pregnancy has established itself I have as much chance as anyone else.I was very, very lucky...it was my first IVF cycle.
I am now looking for more support from ante-natal services because of bad memories and fear of things going wrong but other than that...fine. The service here in Cambridge is excellent. I have even been phoned by one of the midwives. What's it like in your area? Mumsnet has been a god send to me as well. I've had lots of great chats on here and met people who have been through similar experiences nad I find it very reasuring.
Baby was kicking as I wrote this. Do you know what you are having? The cord was in the way on my scan so we may have to do it the old fashioned way. WAIT AND SEE!

thanks a million to you all for answering my thread, i've never done any of these forums things before and this is the 1st time i've logged in since registering the other day.

i did something really stupid a couple of hours ago and ate some swiss cheese. all the books said to avoid the soft cheeses but that swiss cheese was ok. anyhow, didn't even check the label and after eating approx. 1/4 of the block for a pm snack, turned the packet over to read it was made from 'unpasteurised' milk!!!! i've calmed down now but was totally freaked out by what i had done and serious paranoia set in. MOre than anything i can't believe how careless i was.

promising to hear you've heard good things about the Rosie. I haven't received my 1st appt. yet, should get it in the post any day. I'm hypothyroid so will be attending an obstetrcian there
