*BLEEDING AT 5/6 WEEKS PREGNANT AND PERIOD LIKE CRAMP/LOWER BACK ACHE*

Going to phone drs first thing tomorrow but am hoping someone had a similar experience with a positive outcome 🤞🏻
I found out I am pregnant last Friday, from my last period I should be around 6 weeks.
no symptoms over than sore boobs (but never had symptoms with my 1st child either)
this evening I went to the toilet and when wiping noticed I was bleeding and have been every time I’ve been wiping for the last 2/3 hours.
it is light in colour and I have had period like cramps with a dull lower back ache all day. Could this be implantation bleeding? Never had it with previous pregnancy or Should I be worried? 🙁

Hey, it wouldn't be implantation bleeding but it might not be the worse case. Some people do have little spotting/bleeding and everything is fine. Best thing to do is get referred to EPU so they can scan you and do blood test to monitor your HCG levels, don't take no or waiting for an answer push for scan and bloods! I really hope everything turns out ok xx

@TTCRainbow thank you for the reply, I’ve been up all night worrying and trying to read threads where the outcome was positive! I still haven’t managed to get a hold of the local midwife but I have managed to get an appointment with the GP for 10am this morning, hoping they will refer me for an early scan 🤞🏻 my best friend said she bled throughout her second pregnancy and all was ok with her so I’m hoping will be the same for me 😩🤞🏻 x

UPDATE
Seen GP this morning, she referred me to early pregnancy unit, they have booked me in for a scan first thing tomorrow 🤞🏻
my cramps or the bleeding have not got worse but not got any better either. They told me if it gets worse today/tonight to go to a&e x

@TTCRainbow I have been back in touch with GP this afternoon, unfortunately the cramps have gotten worse and I just passed a small blood clot 😢 so don’t think it’s going to be the positive outcome I was hoping for unfortunately 💔 x

@TTCRainbow just at the early pregnancy unit now waiting for scan/bloods to confirm, they said it might not be miscarriage but I’m convinced it is tbh! Rather expect the worse than be disappointed I suppose 🙁

@bluebell34567 still a bit confused at the moment
went to the early pregnancy unit this morning, they done an internal scan, couldn’t see any evidence of a pregnancy on the scan but they did a urine test which is still saying pregnant. They said it could be 3 reasons why nothing came up on scan.
-I am earlier than 6 weeks so may not be able to see anything yet but could still be pregnant.
-I have miscarried and already passed it.
-I have an eptopic pregnancy.

they have done blood tests which will need to be done again in 48hours to see if the HGC levels are getting lower or getting higher.
if they are getting lower then obviously miscarriage
if getting higher they will have to look in to eptopic to rule that out. If not then re scan in a week or so to confirm if still pregnant.

All completely confusing to me 🙁 I am convinced I have had a miscarriage. Just be glad to have the confirmation.
bloods being redone Saturday and I should have the answer by Monday morning xx

I kind of accepted that I had so wasn’t too much of a shock but obviously still upsetting xx
