Could anybody comment on these tests as I’m stuck in a testing loop šŸ™
I took a test early as I just felt pregnant and got a faint positive which got darker at first but has pretty much stayed the same (maybe even got lighter) since 11dpo. I’m 14dpo now. With my other two the tests were much darker at this stage and had a clear progression so I’m suspecting chemical but wanted to get peoples thoughts and experiences.
I realise I’ve spent a fortune on tests but I just can’t help myself.

I'd say there is progression there to day 11 then day 12 looks lighter but 13 is a good line again with 14 looking slightly lighter. Have you taken the tests at the same time every day? It might be that you've drank more some days or been for a wee so your urine isn't as strong. Try another in a couple of days instead of every day as you should see a clearer difference 😊

I thought 13 and 14 looked stronger tha 11. I know it's really hard but I would stop testing as it must be so so stressful for you.

I know it's really tempting I got my BFP Friday and double checked Sunday with a digital but I've left it since then. As the poster above says your wee will be different strengths etc each time you test.

Fingers crossed for you x

Remember it takes around 48 hours for hcg to double so you won’t see a difference every day. At the start even when the numbers are doubling they are so low still it’s hard to see much difference. I’ve attached my tests, the 14 looked lighter than the 11dpo. I had a scan Saturday just gone at 8 weeks and everything was measuring spot on and got to see a heart beating. As hard as it is try to step away from the tests, it just causes so much stress.

@Sb86 its all fmu that’s why it’s so strange. Yes I’ll definitely wait till the weekend now, hopefully it will be clearly darker then.

Aww thanks @Tryingtoconceivenumber2 and congratulations on your BFP! x

@Twoinapod congratulations! It’s so good to hear a positive story and I’m so pleased everything is looking great!

Thanks for your responses everyone😊
I think you are right, I need to stop testing as I’m driving myself insane. I’m going to wait until the weekend and might test Sunday or Monday as it should definitely be darker by then.

I’m in a similar boat without much line progression

I also had the same from 10dp5dt til 17dp5dt and I am being investigated just now for a potential chemical, miscarriage or ectopic or pregnancy of unknown location. I am still early but at 18dp5dt my hcg was only about 141 which is low for that length of time (5+3) but tests aren't changing so I am awaiting on tomorrows result but I predict an early scan to try and figure out what is going on. Hope you get an answer soon!

sm2510 · 23/03/2023 20:10

@Fox01 I hope you get some answers soon and all is well šŸ¤ž The waiting game is so hard isn’t it.

@Fox01 i hope this was a positive outcome for you?

Fox01 · 22/04/2023 21:24

@ChickenT2b no it wasn't. Miscarriage started at 6+2 but hcg wasn't doubling 9 days before then. The roller coaster of infertility
