3 week period now a positive pregnancy test

Hiya, I’m really hoping someone can help.
my period started on 25th February and I’m still bleeding, so I’ve been bleeding for 24 days. I’ve had quite a lot of right ovary pain on and off during this time.
I’ve contacted my doctor and they made an appointment for me next month.
ive been concerned as I’ve never bled for this long, sometimes it’s heavy, sometimes it light, sometimes it’s dark in colour, other times it’s bright red.
my friend advised me to do a pregnancy test just to rule that out. It came back positive. I have no idea what to think.
im on my 24th day of bleeding but have had 2 positive pregnancy tests. I’m 43 years old so thought the extra long period could be the perimenopause related, I never ever expected a positive pregnancy test.
I’m so confused. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

When I was having a mc I bled for weeks but still had strong positives when I tested again around week 5 of bleeding. The bleeding stopped suddenly week 6 & test was then negative.
Make the dr aware of the positive pregnancy test. they may send you to EPU for a scan.

Hiya, I was having lots of pain near my ovary so was called into the early pregnancy unit. After an internal scan I was told it was an ectopic pregnancy.
