Less symptoms in 4th pregnancy

Hey, This is my 4th pregnancy (8 weeks), I have 3 older kids in high school so it's been a while since my last baby :)

With my other dc, I had horrendous sickness (edging on HG), which started around the 6-7 week mark. With this pregnancy, I feel completely different though? I have had heavy sore boobs, fatigue and only mild nausea which comes and goes, some days are not bad at all. It is starting to worry me though that something may be wrong?

I do have a scan booked in for Thursday, but it feels a lifetime away until then, and I cant stop worrying that something may be wrong :(

Has anyone else had subsequent pregnancies that feel totally different?

Hi lovely - I posted this on a similar thread this morning - thought I’d share x

Hi lovely!

I know it’ll probably still make you worry (cause I do even when I hear stuff like this lol) - but my symptoms came and went throughout the entire first trimester. I know you’re obviously comparing it to previous pregnancies but it doesn’t mean anything bad if it’s completely different. My sister had 5 babies and 5 VERY different pregnancies 🤍

I had sore boobs from BFP to about 6.5 weeks - then worried like absolutely crazy!!! Had a scan at 7+6 and baby (looked like a seahorse lol!) was wriggling away. I’ve then had nausea for a week and it’s gone, then a bad back, headaches. Everything I’ve had has come one week or day and gone the next! I don’t think it’s any true sign anything is wrong. But I appreciate that doesn’t stop the worry. I’ve worried continuously and my dating scan is finally tomorrow 🤞🏼 and the thought of it makes me super anxious lol.

If you are worried and no symptoms return, you can call the epu, but they probably won’t see you until you’re 5/6 weeks. But do what’s best for you. It’s horrible being sat worried xx

@Easter3gg I'm similar, I have 11 and 13 year old, now pregnant after long break at 42. I also thought something was wrong as I wasn't sick at all from the start, when with previous pregnancies i had bad nausea and vomiting. I was only very tired up to week 7-8 and had to eat more often. Them everything went back to normal, now at 16 weeks, all goes well, feel good just my belly is really sticking out and I'm in maternity clothes already lol. So don't worry, after such long break your body just acts differently, you are also older, try not to compare and overthink.
