I have to confess that I guiltily ignored all the information about OFP with my first pregnancy and my son's presentation was fine. At the time I couldn't find any proper research to support the conclusions and decided that my need to collapse on the sofa was greater than supporting some crazy agenda.

So was I just very lucky? Is there a proper research basis for this? Or is it all an old (mid)wive's tales? Does anybody actually know?

Oh yes, laughing really is the best medicine! If you're opening up to laugh your other orifices (cervix) can't help but open too!

Fran, I suggest, that with previous experience in mind, you do plan a HB and ask SoM to ensure that supportive, caring mw are assigned to your on-call rota, and that that previous mw is not to be considered.

no friends near my foof
I will pay someone to be funny at me

really, I would MUCH rather have someone whose job this is

there is no way I could ring them at 2 am and relax for the next however many hours in their company otherwise

You're not near me are you Franny? I'd make you laugh for money and be totally impartial about your foof

FrannyandZooey · 15/02/2008 21:13

no, nowhere near

thanks for the offer
tbh if I am paying someone I would expect them to be VERY COMPLIMENTARY about my foof
