Curious about estimated weights Vs actual

So I know estimated baby weights from scans aren't particularly accurate, but curious to see how close people's were at 39+ weeks

My previous baby was estimated 6lb15 at 36 weeks and was born 39 weeks weighing 7lb7

This baby I've had a much later scan at 39+5 and am interested to see what the baby weighs compared to their estimate so close to birth!

Would love to know other estimated weights Vs their actual

At 38 plus 2 weeks DC1 was estimated at 6lbs 1oz. At 40 plus 2 weeks she actually weighed 6lbs 1oz exactly so for us was quite accurate x

Mine was estimated 6lb 10oz at 39 weeks and was born at 7lb 2oz at 41 weeks. So not a bad estimate.
I’m not sure if it made a difference but I had the same sonographer for all the growth scans.

Baby 1 was estimated 6lb 15 at 36 weeks. Born a week later 7lb 5. Assuming ~1/2lb weight gain per week, it was pretty much spot on.

Baby 2 was estimated 6lb 12 at 36 weeks. Born 2 weeks later 8lb 1. So again, pretty spot on.

Baby was estimated at 7lb 11oz at 38 weeks. Was born at 40+2 weighing 8lb 3oz, so not as big as predicted! They thought at term he would be over 9lb

At 38 weeks I was estimated to have a 9lber at term, she arrived at 39+5 weighing 7lb 10.

DD1 was estimated at 7lbs 4 on her due date and was born at 40+5 weighing 7lbs 6, so hers was more accurate

Baby was estimated as 6lb 11oz at 39+3. She was born the following day and was 6lb 7oz so they weren't far off!

I think my last scan was 34 or 36 weeks and based on the prediction from the graph he should have been about 7 and a half.. he was 8lb 5 so a bit more than I thought

Can’t remember what week I had my growth scan, but based on normal 1/2lb per week would have been estimated 8.5lb at 40 weeks.
Came 5 days early and was 9lb 8oz 😳

Estimated to be over 9lb at birth (planned section at 39 weeks). Was 8lb 6oz at birth.

Was estimated at 7lb at 39+4 and she ended up 10lb 4oz at 41+2
