Only because I've seen a few threads on here about people struggling to be seen by NHS dentists
Some private dentists do take children, and women with a MATB1 even though they don't take general NHS patients. So it's worth ringing around and asking. I found this out by chance after accidentally ringing a private dentist, but they took me straight away and I had an appointment within a week...(another benefit of being with a private dentist!)
So even if it's just for the period that you're pregnant and 1 year post birth at least you have a good dentist to see you in that period and get your teeth in order!
