How far into your pregnancies did you get before you found out you had elevated natural killer (NK) cells?

Hi all, for those of you who have had multiple losses and later found out that you had high/abnormal NK cells, would you mind sharing how far along you got to in your pregnancies?

I’ve had 3 losses (chemical at just under 5 weeks, MMC 8-9 weeks, MMC 9-10 weeks). I’m now pregnant again and will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I don’t think it’s a chemical this time. After RMC investigations it was found that I have a slightly high result from one of the blood clotting tests (literally just over the parameter to be prescribed 150mg aspirin). However I can’t help but worry that high NK cells hasn’t been ruled out. I’m now wondering if I should pay for myself to get tested asap.

From what I’ve heard, most MC’s which have turned out to be caused by high NK cells have ended earlier, pre 6 weeks. I guess I’m trying to figure out if my losses at 8+ weeks means it’s unlikely my recurrent losses are down to this.

Would appreciate any responses. Thanks so much x

I only found out through the ivf program I was on and so i was on a treatment plan before conception to mitigate this issue. I think the low steroid dose did the trick. This is a common treatment but not on NHS.

It's v confusing and hard to find a route cause. Good luck with your journey.
