TTC - Lengthening Luteal Phase

Just thought I'd put this on here in case it helps anyone.

Most commonly I ovulate on day 18 or 19 and the cycle last 28 days meaning a potentially-too-short luteal phase of 9-10 days.

For the last 2 cycles I have taken Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine from Holland & Barrett every day and both months I ovulated on day 16 with the length of the cycle remaining 28 days. I had read elsewhere that this could work but was really surprised at how quickly it changed my ovulation date.

It depends how long you have been off contraception and hormonal changes. I was off the pill for 1 year before ttc and I was 3 years trying to conceive and I found nothing really changed my lp. I had a short of 9dpo, 10 and sometimes 11 then I'd bleed the next day. I thought it was progesterone being low but got that checked and nothing. No-one could explain it and nothing ever changed.

The ONLY thing I found to help me ovulate earlier were soy isoflavones (I took the ones in osteocare from amazon). This didn't change my lp though. The progesterone creams don't help either.

I had unexplained infertility and changed and tried everything possible. If you find a cure let me know 😉
