Hello, I’m new here and I’m sure there’s many posts similar to mine however I wanted to share my story to see if anyone had anything similar.

im currently 6 weeks pregnant with my second. We have been TTC for 6 months. I found out on the day after my period was due with a very faint postitive which has since become a stronger positive and digitalis going from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks.

since I found out I’ve had some light blood (red) only when wiping on and off, some days it’s there other days there’s nothing. I called EPU when I was 5+2 and they advised to test again in a week.

at 5+3 I was really crampy in the night and had a little more bleeding but not enough to be changing a pantyliner. I had a chemical in December and I’ve not bled like I did with that.

im now 6 weeks and have had no bleeding since but still very crampy. I called EPU last night who have booked me for a scan on Saturday as I’ve had a bit of left ovary pain. Curiosity got the better of me this morning and I tested again and still a strong line, apart from being tired and having strangely large nipples I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms.

anyone had anything similar and can offer any words?

Sorry to hear you're going through a worrying time with this. Bleeding in the first trimester is very common. I had a subchorionic hematoma and bled on and off, heavily, for four weeks. All was well in the end. Other times there is no obvious cause for the bleeding and all is fine. Other times it ends in a miscarriage. Unfortunately there's little you can do right now but wait it out. It's good you're getting checked to rule out ectopic and hopefully you'll get good news and some reassurance at the scan. Oh and cramps are also totally normal unless they're very painful. Usually it's just your uterus expanding. I've had cramps in this pregnancy all throughout and I'm now 27 weeks. Wishing you all the best!
