started itching last week (friday/saturday) and its starting to drive me crackers, i don't itch all the time but when i do nothing will stop it. Mostly feet and hands.

Now, i know it can be OC (obstetric cholastis or something like that) and am ringing the Drs anyway in the morning BUT do i ask for AN appt for the wednesday or try and get in for 2mo? and is there anything else it could be? Am 35 weeks pg

tasja, sounds like what I had - if yoou have nay more and it happens again, menthol mixed with aqueous cream is heavenly.

Thanx babblington, making a note of that. Tried aqueous cream, but not with menthol.

I had itchy hands and feet at 38wks - doc ruled out OC. i had excema (sp?) that i've never had before.
so get checked out asap, but stay calm, don't panic.

Any news, hunofmonsters?

Hope all is well.

had no news until now....

I was in overnight last night after fridays results came thru. My bile levels were 85 instead of 7 so started me on urso and vit k as there are issues with clotting as well.

waiting on liver scan to rule out anythng else, back in ADU Thursday for more CTG monitoring and growth scan and will be back the week after twice for CTG, more bloods and another growth scan. Induction extremely likely at 38 weeks.

Thank you for fantastic advice

Glad you got it checked out and to hear that they've started you on urso. It worked a treat for me - made things bearable again.

Do contact Jenny Chambers if you suddenly feel the need for information on OC. She's brill. You'll find her number if you google her name.

Good luck with it all and don't worry - it sounds like you're in very good hands.

omg I am not pregnant, but I itch and have done for months now, not flea or mite bites just random itchiness in random places. I think I had better be of to the doctors, How to explain where I got the idea to come to the doctor with my itching.
