Pregnancy of unknown location

I had my early trans vaginal scan today due to some bleeding a few days after my positive pregnancy test.
HCG levels have been monitored since last Monday and are rising as follows:
Monday - 37
Wednesday - 107
Saturday - 473
Tuesday - 1,260

Scan today couldn't see anything in my uterus and it's a Pregnancy of unknown location at this stage.
The consultant wasn't worried as he said it may be too early to see a gestational sac on the trans vaginal ultrasound yet as they like HCG levels to be 1,500-2,000 before they can see anything. At 1,260 I was hoping they might be able to see something?!

I said about ectopic and he said it's on the table but so is an early pregnancy due to my LMP date saying I'm just over 5 weeks when I could be 4 ish weeks as my cycles are irregular.

He said so many people who find out they are pregnancy super early end up at the EPU and it's often too early to see anything. I'm trying to remain hopeful but I'm just so mentally drained from waiting and anxious incase it is ectopic and days are going by.

I am booked in for more HCG bloods Friday this week then a re scan on Monday. I know I'm in the system and being monitored but my emotions are all over the place.

I want to ask if anyone has had an early scan and they've not seen anything and then gone back and they have been able to see a tiny sac please? Just to give me some hope that it may be too early to see anything for me yet 🤞🏻🙏🏼

I understand that you are worried about this but posting multiple times a day about the same thing really isn’t going to help your mental health. The dr has said it may be too early to see anything, you could be earlier than expected. Unfortunately no one can give you any more reassurance than you had on your earlier post. Try not to drive yourself crazy. Your hcg levels look good, take some time away from the posting and try to distract yourself

I had some pain a couple of weeks ago at what I think was 4+4 based on LMP. They said my HCG levels were over 4000 so did a scan expecting to see everything. They could see a gestational sac, but nothing inside, so couldn’t rule out an ectopic. I was there for a couple of days and multiple doctors couldn’t decide what to do but eventually we agreed that I would go home and return a week later for another scan (5+6).

I had the scan on Friday and they immediately saw the yolk sac and confirmed all was fine! So if you’re early pregnancy it’s completely possible for it to not show up on an ultrasound. It’s a worrying wait though, I definitely know that. Hope all turns out well for you
