Suddenly lactose intolerant during/after pregnancy?

Hi, this is the weirdest thing but about halfway through my pregnancy I got a really bad virus and after that I got really bad digestive symptoms after eating dairy. Baby is now 1m and it's still happening!

I don't know if it was pregnancy or the virus or both, but just never heard of this happening. I know pregnancy can affect the immune system though, so possibly related?

I know you posted this a year ago but I had the complete opposite. I'm usually lactose intolerant but I was able to tolerate dairy with no side effects for most of my pregnancy. So I imagine your case isn't an isolated one either

I had the same, 21 years ago. She is now intolerant and avoids it all together as a young adult
