Early scan today feeling so anxious

Going for my early scan today to hopefully rule out ectopic and see that there is a pregnancy in the right place 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm so so anxious this has been a nightmare waiting for today to come around over the last week and I don't know what to expect.
I'm 5 weeks 5 days can anyone tell me what I can expect to see if pregnancy is in the uterus at this stage please?

I had one at 6+3 and baby measured 5+5 with a heartbeat. Baby was just a blob and we could see the yolk sac next to them. You may be too early to see a heartbeat but they will defo be able to confirm if it's in the right place!

I felt very reassured when I knew it was in the right place and not ectopic.

Thinking of you! I understand the anxieties of scans and I bet you are feeling a mix of emotions.

At your gestation I’d expect to see a gestational sac, a yolk sac and maybe an embryo and heartbeat BUT some do not see heartbeats until a week further along so do not be disheartened if you do not see one. I’m a part of some pregnancy groups and some woman didn’t see the heartbeat until closer to 7 weeks x

I had one at 5+3 to rule out ectopic. Was also so anxious (and still am anytime before a scan…). On mine the DR saw gestational sac and could just see the yolk sac. Couldn’t see the embryo at that point which is normal. They rescanned me 2 weeks later at 7+3 to confirm pregnancy was viable and at that stage you can see embryo and heartbeat

Nothing seen in uterus but the consultant said that it may be too early because of my irregular cycles she thinks I'm earlier on that LMP date so around 4 weeks not 5.
HCG has gone up again so trend is
Monday - 38
Wednesday - 107
Saturday - 473
Today - 1,260
She said that's a good rise and is doubling as it should. But I still fear ectopic it's just a rollercoaster of anxiousness all the waiting.
She said that HCG levels need to be 1,500 at least for a gestational sac to be seen but I would have thought they should have seen something today 😞 But maybe it is just that little bit too early?!

I was told that it can be hard to see anything on a scan before 7 weeks. I waited until 7 and a half weeks to have my first scan and did get to see a little blob with a heartbeat. Try not to worry too much, it'll be very very tiny at 5 weeks.

It ended in an Ectopic unfortunately for me, and I had to have emerge y surgery that day.

Yes I was bleeding, so that's what made me go to the early pregnancy unit for a scan.
